To Those Against Speech
21st Century
The influence is subtle, not risible.
How many have spoken of the words
Of some poet that changed their perspective/life and
That of the world, because of it.
(No Trailers I!)
But to those professing
No special place for poetry,
That it does not/can not
Change the world, I say "bunk!"
And does, in fact do that,
Change the world!
"Get it, you want it, I got it!"
A chance to extreme
With some metal band hurtling!
"Shut the fuck up!"
Yes! Low the discourse,
Last Days style for ya!
(And Yet!)
"God bless ya!"
