Beautiful suicide

By Maria Zazovsky

21st Century

Dreaming of strandless endings
Beautful carved stone hearts
Purely just for decoration
For your cold crystal palaces.

Wishing for happy darkness
So finally peace comes to you
Stuck in a mirror world
Fighting with the empty air.

Hoping that a single thorn
Will bleed ignorance out
Colourless emoitions stand
No one sees the sinking ship.

Torn passion flower petals
Fall without persistance
Neglected but yet adored
Beauty faded to a lost level.

The attic of redemption cries
Open the door to forgiveness
The silver key is trapped
Between unknown and hate.

Emeralds flow into broken glasses
Transparent reflections strike
Only once is truth reveiled
Hidden from the blackend rainbows.

Forgotten innocence misplaced
Thoughtless errors drown in sorrow
Rivers of the void surround the blue
Beautiful suicide screams for a voice
